Campus Life Squad Photo Contest: Scholarship Opportunity

In an effort to increase campus life participation, the Campus Life Squad team is having a Photo Contest for Saddleback Students! The theme for this semester’s photo contest is finding the “uniqueness of Saddleback College”. There are two $150 scholarship prizes available! Same-Sex Marriage: A Civil Debate

We packed the McKinney Theatre last Thursday, March 7, as we welcomed Maggie Gallagher and John Corvino who debated the issue of Same-Sex Marriage. Each guest presented their side and engaged the audience. The attendees were very polite as we had supporters of each side. Following the debate we hosted a 20-minute Q&A where important questions were raised with informative answers from each of the debaters.

We were pleased and excited to be able to host these two educated and well spoken guests to share on this current issue.

Campus Life Squad Day – Mar 5

We welcomed entertainer Kevin Miso to campus today. He performed on the quad for an hour while students, staff and guests enjoyed lunch from the Sexy Burger Food Truck and visited different booths at the transfer fair. It was a busy day on the quad. Good thing the rain held off for all the festivities.
