I know I have been bombarding tons of videos but if you have 10 minutes you REALLY should watch this one (even if this is the only video you watch, I am cool with that!)
As you have seen TWLOHA is coming to our campus. This is a nationally known Suicide and Depression Awareness organization (this video is from a CBS feature) that is going to be on our campus (yes! our campus) on April 13th.
Please come out. Suicide and depression (believe it or not) is extremely prevalent in young adults, especially college students. TWLOHA’s mission is:
“To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.”
See you there. 6pm in the Quad. You can save a life and spread some love.
Thanks for all who came to Natasha Leggero and who donated to scholarships for Women Veteran & Family Scholarships. Natasha was HILARIOUS and meeting her afterward was the icing on the cake. Some videos will be posted soon.
Multicultural Day on Campus. Luckily the day cleared up and we had some nice weather. Clubs were out, giant games were played, and the music was jammin.
Don’t forget, Babies movie screening in one hour, 3pm, in HS 145.
AND definitely don’t forget Natasha Leggero tonight. 6p in McKinney Theater. Tickets will be sold at the door!
Just a tidbit of today’s happenings around campus! Definitely some pretty awesome music by Nesta Steel Drum Band
